Reactivating expired Subscription Home Use Licenses

Issue
Your Subscription Home Use License has expired and you would like to know how to reauthorize it to continue working in the product.

Solution
Delete the license file and re-start your program, get the requirement code to apply your activation code.

Process
The reauthorization process requires completing a new Subscription Home Use License Agreement and submitting it to www.autodesk.com/register for approval.  If approved, the Home Use License will be extended for another term.  The serial number will remain the same, however the product will need to be reactivated on the client machine.

To reactivate the product, you will need to contact Product Support to obtain the name and location of the license .DAT file corresponding to the product you want to reactivate.

Note: The license file location is: For Windows XP OS: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\Software Licenses (with extension .dat), Windows Vista and 7: C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet (with extension .data)

Note: Starting with 2010, this will be a .DATA file and deleting this file will delete all existing activations for 2010 products or later. Backup the *.DATA file)

Note: You need to have access to: hidden files and folders + file extension

Once you receive the file name, proceed as follows:  Locate and delete the .DAT file name provided by Product Support

Launch the product

Follow the standard activation process

The product will now be reactivated for a new period.
